I am a college student currently taking a History course. My professor gave us a list of over 200 books to choose three from, and I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations. I am not a History major myself, so I would like something that might be a little less complex of a read, under 200 pages would be preferred as I am taking a very heavy course load this semester, however the length really is not all that much of a concern. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

The 3 maids and 2 nannies need a last name still so if u can think of any that might work, please let me know, Thanx, :D.
Jul – Yes they are all 10 of the kids are from the same marriage, and yea I know there’s alotta characters but most of the are minor characters. Lol yea it kinda is a bit like the shows on TLC.
iyoung03 – Thanx!
Hattie – Why should it matter if anyone is really called Cassiopeia? It’s a story, and plus yes actually I’m sure there is someone called that since it is a real name.
aqua girl – The nicknames are staying, Evangelina hasta stay Evi, cuz her and her sisters nicknames all end in an ‘i’.
And I want Catherine to be Cat, cuz I like that nickname better and I think it fits the character better, and same thing with Elizabeth being Eliza.
Thanx for last name suggestions, and names of the maids and nannies are staying like they are too, but thanx anyways for the suggestions, :D.
KismElik – Lol yea I know there are alotta names, and thanx for the 2 last name suggestions, :D.
Malocclusion Ten Four – no it’s not really gonna be fantasy, but why would I need to add more common names, the fun of making up characters names is too be able to use any name u want too and I don’t wanna use alotta common names. Plus I think I put enough common names in there already. But thanx glad u like the name choices I made.
Shirley J – Yea well as I said to Jul, I know there’s alotta characters but most of the are minor characters, so it really won’t be that confusing. And there isn’t anyway I can change it so there isn’t so many characters, for what I want the story to be about I need these characters, even if most of them are only minor characters they are still important to to the story.
Jane J - ok, it's ok, i suppose, lol.
♥Miley Cyrus♥ - Thanx.

Start with your favourite name.
A girls name and a boys name
Now take the last letter of that name, and think of a new name starting with that letter
Do this 10 times, each time taking the last letter of the last name.
Include middle names
It doesnt matter if you use the same name more than once, but try not to use it too many times
Example:
pick a name to start with:
lets say you pick Heather
the last letter of heather is "R"
For the second girls name pick a name that starts with R.
Rebecca, which ends with an A.
Now pick a name that starts with A.
keep doing this until you have 10
Do it for girls and boys
1) Reyna Lynn
1) Carson Moses
2) Alexia Isis
2) Nolan Reid
3) Arden Danielle
3) Dallas Robert
4) Noelle Grace
4) Spencer Zaid
5) Erica Belle
5) Rowan Edward
6) Alexis Grace
6) Noah Jayden
7) Suri Lynn
7) Holden Peter
8) Isis Anne
8) Nigel James
9) Shiloh Andrea
9) Lucas Scott
10) Hannah Lynn
10) Scott James

The loving couple
There was once a guy named Carson and a girl named Anne, they had been friends since they were born(they were born on the same day). They were already both 18 yrs.Anne has a bf and Carson is okay with that. One day,Carson accidentally saw Anne and her bf (Jake) kissing.Carson was a bit jealous but did not admit. Then the next day he starts having feelings for her but does not admit. Two years later,Anne is still with her bf and Carson has fallen in love with her but still did not admit. Then at night,he was going home,he could go home as late as he wanted cos hes parents were both on a business trip. Then, suddenly,he saw Anne and her bf kissing in Jake's car.Jake pushed Anne down and started ripping off her clothes and his clothes.Carson ran to the car and knocked the window but Jake ignored him and put some covers at the glasses so people could not see what he was doing but Carson could see in a small hole.He was taking out her bra and touching her breast.Carson could not take it and used a chair to break the glass.Jake got angry and punched Carson,Anne wore her clothes and stopped Jake.Jake gets grounded for 3 years for what he had done.Carson and Anne become a couple but Jake is still trying to get her back and is wooing her and sometimes touch her or kiss her by surprise.

I'm 15, I'm going to be a sophmore and I reade quite a bit. I've already read all of the summer book that I need to [I know I'm a geek] but seriously, if someone could suggest some books that would be great. I'm going on a long trip this summer and I need some good things to read. I enjoy classic writers like Jane Austen but I also like more alternative authors like Carson Mccullers. I'm looking for something that's easy to get into like the Harry Potter series, with a good main character? I just finished reading Dinner at the Homesick Restaurant by Anne Tyler. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.
We are discussing Anne Carson's Autobiography of Red and I need to know what the significance of red is in spanish and in hte book in general!
