Why does it feel like the world is on it's side trying desperately to get up, but to no avail? The old meme is that "she's fallen and she can't get up" and in this case the scenario is no different. Those in power who should be helping us or, rather, doing the right thing continue fanning the flames of a 20 year plus perverse spectacle.
As you sit there, taking it all in, you come to realize and accept that those that hide behind their collective side, do so only for the comfort of having like minded individuals to complain or agree with. A security blanket fleeced with the hacks that are members of that two animal zoo. Hardly the correct approach to take when nothing changes year after year.
It takes courage to delay the gratification of an exigent decision. Unfortunately, we as a nation of sheeple accept the defeatism as long as we have our material goods. So what's the catalyst for due change? What will force the "paradigm shift" on the populace as a whole?
Pain.
It's the mitigating factor in life's most simple and complex decisions.
The truth that makes men free is for the most part the truth which men prefer not to hear. - Herbert Agar (1897 - 1980)

Someone's a huge Ayn Rand fan. I liked the Fountainhead enough, and I hear Atlas Shrugged has a femgineer!
