after having seen loads of pictures like these, these and these, I thought it was time to do a similar shot with a twist.
the book used to create the heart effect is American Psycho by Bret Easton Ellis. one of the best (and most disturbing) books i have ever read, and a book that I thought would go well with the theme of this shot.

Not bad. An improvement over the tedious book, though I did enjoy the rat/acid passages (not in the film) when I was 19.

Roger Avary admits to cramming every film technique/experiment he ever wanted to execute, into this film, fearing he'd never get to make another movie. I think it really shows, and agree that he should never get to make another movie. LAME.
