Here is the first page of chapter 1 of Pride and Prejudice.
I'm not actually reading this book at this time, but it is one of the books that I have that is actually formatted specifically for this device. I am mainly reading text documents of books right now.

This picture was taken just a few minutes ago, right after I arrived 45 minutes early for my class and set up my stuff. I trudged through my essay on Tourette's Syndrome for this class and finally managed to finish it. I just printed in the school library. So, here you can see my empty classroom, my computer, a paper fan (that I've started to carry around because of the truly ridiculous heat & humidity) and my Jane Austen. I had planned to read Murakami's "Blind Willow Sleeping Woman" earlier this morning but decided to bring Austen along. For a self-proclaimed bibliophile, I've to shamefully admit that I've not sat through an entire Austen. Ever. So, this is going to be my first. I read a few chapters from a non-print version on my iPod and got hooked. Nothing much else is planned for later. Perhaps, I should start work on my next essay. Ack.

" _ Sempre me disseram que a poesia é o alimento do amor.
