Le thème principal écrit par Gabriel Yared pour le film "l'amant" de Jean-Jacques Annaud avec Tonny leung et Jane March d'après le roman de Marguerite Duras (1992) C'est à mon avis l'un plus beaux thèmes écrits par le compositeur pour le cinéma avec "le patient anglais". Il a d'ailleurs obtenu un César et une Victoire de la musique pour cette BO Gabriel Yared, compositeur français d'origine libanaise en grande partie autodidacte est aussi orchestrateur et a composé des chansons notamment pour des personnalités telles que Michel Jonasz, Françoise Hardy, Charles Aznavour...
