The Cutty Sark is a clipper ship. Built in 1869, she served as a merchant vessel (the last clipper to be built for that purpose), and then as a training ship until being put on public display in 1954. She is preserved in dry dock at Greenwich in London. However, the ship was badly damaged in a fire on 21 May 2007 while undergoing extensive restoration. The Cutty Sark is the only remaining original Clipper ship from the 1800's.

So I have declared my 24th year as the year of gratitude. I kicked it off with my birthday dinner at Cafe Gratitude in the Mission with some of my dearest friends. It was super fun and delicious and I am so excited for all the wonderful adventures this year will hold with these fab people in my life (and all in one city!). Thank you thank you thank you!
