| “Quick!” Emily yelled. “This way!” She beckoned me over the road. “Hurry up!” This was usual for our Friday night out. We’d hang out in the same pub have a few drinks and end ip running to catch our bus home. Tonight, however she’d met a boy and had spent too long getting his phone number and kissing him goodnight so we were even later than usual. So we found ourselves running along the forgotten and somewhat partially abandoned High Street West part of town in a frantic bid to get to the bus stop on time. “Don’t panic we’ll just cut through the old car park. The bus stop is directly opposite.” She smiled “Is it safe? Haven’t they got big dogs with sharp teeth guarding it at night?” I whispered shivering. “You’ll be lucky if it’s some old man with a flat cap and false teeth!” Emily laughed. “Now come on.” I reluctantly followed her under the barrier and as our steps echoed around the darkness I began to feel that someone was watching us. “This place is giving me the creeps. There could be anything lurking in there!” I muttered. “Hear that? It sounds like this place maybe haunted.” “You’ve been watching way too many Scooby Doo episodes with that nephew of yours. This way!” Emily ploughed on through the darkness. The wind rattled through the now empty building as the constant dripping water from a leaking pipe added to the somewhat spooky atmosphere. “It’s just the pigeons! There’s no rats. There’s no rats.” I muttered as I stumbled to keep up with her but as it got darker I lost sight of her. I could still hear her heels as they clicked on the ground so I just followed their somewhat comforting sound hoping any moment we’d be standing at the bus stop telling each other how silly it was being scared. “Emily? Emily? This is not time for one of your jokes!” I yelled but she didn’t reply. “Emily! This isn’t funny! Emily!! I screamed but there was no reply. Using my mobile phone as a torch I managed to find my way to an exit but to my horror the gates were closed. “Damn!” I muttered as I rattled them. “This is all I need!” I spotted a ticket machine and decided to press the help button. “Hello! Can anyone hear me? I’m locked in! Help please!” The machine crackled, hissed but no help came. “So much for you being any help!” I kicked the machine in fustration before slumping to the ground. “My phone!” I thought. “Silly me! I’ll phone for help!” I smiled but that soon vanished as I realised that I had no signal. I threw my phone away in anger. “You shouldn’t have done that!” A voice replied from the darkness. “Hello? Who’s there?” I trembled. “I can’t see you!” “Is that better?” He replied as all the lights suddenly came on as if by magic. I shielded my eyes from the bright light. I felt an arm pull me to my feet to find myself confronted by a tall man in a grey suit and tie. He had a security pass dangling around his neck. A gasp got caught in my throat as my heart rate intensified. I felt myself falling back down again. He just caught me in time. “Steady there Miss.” His brown eyes twinkled he held me in his arms. “I’m fine thanks.” I blushed bright red. “Wow!” I thought. “What are you doing in here?” “Would you believe taking a short cut to the bus stop? That’s point have you seen my friend? We got separated. She might be lost.” I mumbled trying to distract myself from the sizzling attraction that any moment could reach boiling point. “There’s no else here Miss. I’ve just finished my rounds.” “So much for the false teeth!! I stammered trying hard to resist the raging desires that now ran through my veins. “Sorry just something my friend said. You said there was no one else here. I bet she’s sitting on that bus now! Typical! She’s left me! So you’re the security guard then!” I gabbled in the hope if I kept talking then the urge to pin him down, rip off his clothes and ravish every inch of his tall wiry sexy body would eventually fade. “I’m the night manager Miss. There’s no one else here.” He replied as his eyes stared deeply into mine as if searching for my very soul. “Wow! You’re so…tall and a lot younger than I thought you’d be.” I managed to mumble. “And certainly a lot cuter!” I gasped as I realised I’d actually said it out loud. “Anyway if you just unlock the gates. I’ll be on my way.” He pulled me even closer to him. “I’m afraid I can’t do that Miss.” “What? Why?” I muttered as I stared at his lips willing him to kiss me long and hard. “Because you don’t want to me to.” He whispered in my ear. “How do you know what I want? You’ve just met me!” I laughed nervously. “No one’s ever told me what I want! I can work that out for myself thank you very much! So if you don’t mind unlock the gates please.” “I can’t do that Miss.” He turned me round to face him. “Why on earth not?” I stammered. “Give me one good reason.” “ Because you want me as much as I want you.” He stroked my hair gently as I trembled in anticipation. “ It’s just..I’m..” I mumbled. “Scared? Why? Tell me have you ever felt anything like this before? You haven’t have you?” “Never. It’s just..just…I don’t do one night stands.” I managed to gasp. “Or brief affairs!” “Good. Neither do I. We’ve got the rest of our lives to work out the rest of the details.” He replied as he began to nuzzle on my neck. “ I won’t hurt you not like the others have.” “How could you possibly know?“ I garbled. “This is crazy! Maybe I’m going crazy!” “I want you.” He whispered in my ear. “I need you - right here right now.” He slowly began to unzip my leather jacket. As it fell to the floor our lips parted and met for a hot passionate kiss that literally took my breath away and left me with a wanton hunger that I had to satisfy. Frantically I ripped off his clothes in a adrenalin -rushed frenzy. Every part of me craved him and I yearned to feel him inside me. Any doubts that this was could be a one off knee trembler disappeared with the next deeply intense passionate kiss. He loved me as much as I loved him! This was beyond crazy and highly illogical. I never believed in love at first sight and certainly wasn’t the type of girl that slept around. But here I was on the verge of making love to someone I’d just met but for some reason I ‘d fallen deeply in love with. My back arched with intense pleasure as he finally entered me. I felt him tremble as he thrust even deeper inside me. Our gasps were only interrupted by our hot kisses than got hotter with every lick of our tongues. My hands explored his soft skin. He groaned in desire as I grabbed his buttocks to make go even deeper. This sent him into an even higher state of frenzied passion. I began to groan as I felt the climax of our lovemaking. With one last burst we came together and landed in a hot, sticky sweat on top of each other. “I love you!” He murmured down my ear. “I’ll always love you. Promise you’ll never leave me.” “I love you so much. I’ll never leave you” I whispered softly as we started to make love again I could see Emily standing outside. Part of me longed to run down to see her but as he nuzzled on my neck I knew I’d surrender to him yet again. “No regrets?” His arms slipped around my waist. “None!” I smiled as I turned round and kissed him passionately. Emily stared at the bunch of flowers that were clenched in her hands. She couldn’t even begin to explain what had happened. This was the last place she’d seen her best friend. Problem was it had been part of the regeneration programme and had been demolished five years ago…. |
