Love Poetry Q&A’
Is Poetry.com a crock?
Can anybody be published in the Poetry.com anthologies? Are you only published if you buy the anthology? Also, does everybody who submits a poem get an offer for a Who’s Who in Poetry Pin and Medallion?
I love to write poetry and think it would be great to see some of my stuff published in their anthology, and the medallion looks great….but I kinda believe anyone who submits any piece of crap poem gets the same offer.
Does anyone know if the honor is real or they just want your money?

Criticism on my poem and advice on if I should take a career in writing poetry?
Letting go
Love is hard to leave
Letting go is harder than seems
A sweet gentle is all you might miss
But to someone else it’s heavenly bliss
Letting go doesn’t mean to stop loving
It means to stop hurting
Forgetting is hard to do
A kiss can’t be forgotten
A touch is easy to miss
To love and forget is highly impossible
Letting go doesn’t mean to forget the memories
It means to stop letting them haunt you
There was some spelling mistakes this should be better: Letting go
Love is hard to leave
Letting go is harder than it seems
A sweet gentle touch is all you might miss
But to someone else it’s heavenly bliss
Letting go doesn’t mean to stop loving
It means to stop hurting
Forgetting is hard to do
A kiss can’t be forgotten
A touch is easy to miss
To love and forget is highly impossible
Letting go doesn’t mean to forget the memories
It means to stop letting them haunt you

I cant apply for scholarships, i recently entered college and i need to pay for it; ive been writing poeams and lyrics since i was very young, meaning i have many but only about 40 i would consider worth reading… that actually does sound like a lot…they are about the world, society, love, us people and our denial towards our surroundings… please help!

Do you know of any good poetry?
I’m NOT looking for poetry on love.
I want original poetry.
Poetry with a cryptic meaning.
Bob Dylan had some interesting poetry, and I also found these amazingly good:
A night visitor creaks open
a random chance
as I turn over and wake up
in semidarkness where the shapes
of shadows slide between the form
and the formless field of receptors.
Is it the movement or the awareness
that sends it fleeing?
There are women in cabinets,
erotic knickknacks,
for sale, bathed in red
and lonely, sudden breaths.
There’s a Dixieland trombone laughing
in the distance. With the cameras
and the knuckles rapping on the windows
everybody’s floating on the beat.
In the park people stroll
as 2 grey llamas run
circles around a cow
asking them to stop
with each new dust cloud revolution.
The llamas don’t stop.
No, the llamas don’t stop.
Some guy hands me a flyer
for a coffee shop. A beggar says
“I am Dutch, therefore I speak English.”
Across an open offwhite rib cage
stands a colossal hologram
in oil paint and the willfully
captured light of the eye’s fire
burning from the inside out
a center of light that even now sends
the viewer onto a chromatic bridge
between the nucleus and the orbit.
Sunny is an Australian
musing at the end
of the Heineken Brewery Tour.
She brushes back her long brown hair
with a newly acquired backpacker’s hand.
“We’re all convicts you know,” she says,
“or descended from convicts.”
Her face doesn’t get any whiter
but her lips part.
Luckily, we have beer.
If you know any poetry like this, or interesting please post the website or poem.
Thank-you
