Hi Ladies, do you like songs and poetry written for you?
Do women really love songs and poetry written and dedicated to them? It seems to work for me…
What do you think?
I should have clarified my question…I didnt mean to a total stranger…I meant if you were dating a guy and we wrote you poetry or a song or something…I dedicated a song to special friend at a gig last weekend and I get teased…LOL but she loved it…
so far its about 50/50 on the answers…thanks ladies

It doesn’t really do anything for me…I would think it a sweet gesture, but I don’t get particularly ‘moved’ by it.

well in my personal opinion yes. i think that it is really roamntic and quite at the same time, cause guys can show their feelings for them and why not by writing love songs and poems, i wish some guy would do that to me.

yes, absolutely! I dated a musician for a while & I hoped that he would write a song for me, but never did. it makes a woman feel very important & special to know that she inspired you to write about her.

i think its reaaly sweet for a GUY TO WRIITE TO a girl. because it shows that he spends time on things like that and to dedicate a song i think its really sweet too.

it is not the actual poetry, it is that someone – anyone – takes the time to write. it is flattering and nice!

Well I think its kinda cheap no offense but it seems like all men write poetry and song to their girls. But occasionally when theres a good poem or song that came from the heart 100% and worked on real hard then well its works

depends on who is writing it. If that person is out of their element(doesn’t normally do that kind of thing) then I would just rather have flowers. But I had a BF who often did other kinds of things for me and I though it was romantic, too. I was 25, and was on my own, he would change the oil in my car or wash my car, he once even paid by electric bill without telling me who did it. He wasn;t really expressive, but his gestures told me he cared about my well being. The boyfriend/girlfriend didn’t work for us, but we have remained friends now for 10+yrs.
