is writing poetry considered emo?
i really like to write poetry and songs not like songs about killing myself or anytihng, songs aobut like love and romance and stuff. is that bad?

No. I’m not an emo. I write for the love of writing. I express myself or my troubles through writing I find it easier to communicate and say the things I want to say on paper rather than in speech.
Poetry is what gets lost in translation. It’s not emo and it has been around long before that expression or stereotype.

Writing poetry is considered artistic. A lot of people have a great love for poetry and they express many emotions through it, not just sad ones. There are types of poetry, like about love, life, fears, thoughts, darkness, so on. Anyone who calls you ‘emo’ because you write poetry is a door knob. (:
