Poetry question; need help with locating a poem?

There is a love poem that I am looking for. In it, the author compares love to a house being on fire. I cannot find it anywhere. It’s a relatively modern poem, and American I believe. I spent all day searching for it. It is NOT the Bradstreet poem. If anyone can help I would tremendously appreciate it. I believe the words fire, soul, burn, house and love appear in the verses. Thank you!

Difficult to dislodge the Bradstreet poem from the forefront of my thoughts. The Yeats poems “Song of Wandering Aengus” and “When You Are Old” are suggestive of the indicated themes, but I suspect neither is the poem that you desire. Though time with Yeats is never time lost. Jahane Rumi’s “The Ship Sunk In Love” would be a possibility were it not translated from the Persian. Contemporary and American is what is causing me to stumble about; otherwise, I would suggest Pablo Neruda’s “I’m Explaining A Few Things.” My apologies, but the path is overgrown.
