Love Poetry

Hi my name is Natasha and i am 20 years old. I love to write poetry short stories and songs. Writing is like my life. I also love music and to sing. I want to pursue my dream in writing like for a popular magazine like Carrie on Sex and the City. How do i go about doing that and where do i start. What do i go to school for? I just love writing and singing so much i want other people to be able to enjoy it.

i love writing poetry and short stories and i want to get them published i already sent my manuscript to vantage press they said that i was good enough but i wasnt old enough and the price range for publishing with them was between $6,000- $25,000

I love reading

any books, plays, short stories, etc.
hard novels or easy stories i understand an get grasped in them

but i have a hard time understanding poetry

i just make nothing out of some lines and so i keep going and don’t find a purpose to it

I’m no great or famous poet…I do love poetry though and making a book…would just be awesome….I love to write anything from just thoughts to long stories(some of them stupid) to poetry. I wouldnt limit it to just poetry but also short stories as well…anyone interested and pref. ppl be young(under25-26).
