  1. Alex Says:

    [IF]

If you can keep your head when all about you
Are losing theirs and blaming it on you,
If you can trust yourself when all men doubt you
But make allowance for their doubting too,
If you can wait and not be tired by waiting,
Or being lied about, don’t deal in lies,
Or being hated, don’t give way to hating,
And yet don’t look too good, nor talk too wise:

If you can dream–and not make dreams your master,
    If you can think–and not make thoughts your aim;
If you can meet with Triumph and Disaster
    And treat those two impostors just the same;
If you can bear to hear the truth you’ve spoken
Twisted by knaves to make a trap for fools,
Or watch the things you gave your life to, broken,
And stoop and build ‘em up with worn-out tools:

If you can make one heap of all your winnings
And risk it all on one turn of pitch-and-toss,
And lose, and start again at your beginnings
    And never breath a word about your loss;
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone,
And so hold on when there is nothing in you
Except the Will which says to them: “Hold on!”

If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with kings–nor lose the common touch,
    If neither foes nor loving friends can hurt you;
If all men count with you, but none too much,
If you can fill the unforgiving minute
With sixty seconds’ worth of distance run,
Yours is the Earth and everything that’s in it,
And–which is more–you’ll be a Man, my son!

  2. Vova34 Says:

    Unreachable love
Moving slowly toward the unreachable destination
through carved path of hidden formation

pools of agony that will last
and the ones who have captured the past

like clear a camouflage of a crystal glass
it doesn’t reveal code of success

because wall of reality never breaks
why cant I stop making mistakes

fiery tears fall down and splash
    turning the dreams into ash

they get me down on my knees
while I struggle searching for peace

now seeing she cant be with me
    those feelings wont flee

    grown from empty space
resisting what is so hard to face

like a corrosive cloud from within
its damaged body that I’m in

buried, unfulfilled whishes that still thrive
and my luck that refused to arrive

    leaving furious haze of dreams
    painting shine of infinite beams

receding in depth is my inner voice
imprisoned for live ,leaves no choice

now from pointless chase I resign
hoping time can erase the sign

    Some Summers Past
Some summers past, we were standing,
For each others’ better halves waiting,
It was then our eyes did glance,
And their arrival we forgot perchance.

It was then your eyes met mine again,
Yes it was some summers past,
    We smiled and cutely blushed
At each others open arms we thrust.
It was as if a moment sent by God,
    It was our summer’s reward.

That moment we still remember till today,
When we met that summers’ day,
Ever since we have been two souls in one
Only, since that summer had just begun.

Yes it was the summer of our lives,
    A long remembered association,
At last we built up on our imagination.
Still today you know, we remember that day,
When wedded meet for a long life’s stay.

Yes my sweetheart it was that summer
It was the best of life’s summers,
If we both can always say,
It was over a few decades ago,
But for us it is still, as if
    It was just yesterday.
Yes many summers have passed away.

    WHY HAVE YOU FORSAKEN ME

I was at the zenith of my life
    When I passed away,
    Why have you now forsaken
Me and left me in this isolated way.

Why place me at the nadir,
It was warm and cosy up there,
Though it was so isolated true,
Down here it’s really wet and cold
No one do I now behold.

Why have you placed a stone so heavy?
That weighs upon my delicate body.
Why could you not build a monument?
As like a Taj Mahal, or an Egyptian chamber,
A Sphinx that would surely protected me from danger.

Why do you abandon me so suddenly?
Leaving me here so very lonely, why have you
Forgotten who am I or what was I,
    Oh Romans, Frenchmen and Canadian,
Why have you all my, Faith shaken…

Wait till you all come my way,
This kind of coldness I will display,
As you are beside by my side,
    Your countenance will not hide,
I will still over you here, preside

    YOU’RE EYES
There is something I see beyond
The sadness in your hazel eyes,
    The distance beyond the horizon
They see so clearly, with an eagle’s vision.

I see your eyes so seemingly lonely,
Trying to catch a lost vision quietly,
For as I see you wondering around,
Your eyes in them, depth I have found.
For there in them I see a lost mission,
    A seemingly lost transmission,
Also in then I experience, truly,
    A life’s unending mission, cruelly,
Of enduring love of truthful glance
Of a lost but seemingly known trance,
Yes in those lovely demure eyes
A new, and enlivened Vision, does rise.

    Priceless Treasure: DEAR ROSE

I am on the edge of the threshold, with desire
Where can we alone in this wilderness meet?
As the air perfumes fill my nostrils with love,
As if holding your hands in my dreams,
A one time fantasy a breath, from within screams.

I pick you up, and throw you in the air,
None thought that it would be such despair.
As my soft hands held your petal like,
Desire did then as lightening strike.

Nothing remained and the moisture disappeared,
As I smelt my palms, only your face appeared
From nowhere, as a spring of emotion rose
At once I saw you in front of my eyes emerging
As if from no where as you know
It was then that I’d realised,
It was you oh my Dear ROSE.

    SMILE
Mostly I smile all the while
I smile all my way, in my inimical style,
And when I smile all my friends say
Are you happy, how is it you are so gay.

Then comes along this girl I knew
Phew, how lovely really unlike, so few.
I looked at her and smiled her way
She smiled at my smile right- away,
And then took my smile away.

I went unto her, for her hand to ask
Do you know what she had to give?
No, no, no, just do not ask.
She smiled back and gave a flying kiss,
And I caught it without a miss. .

Then as for a while I closed my eyes,
She was gone far, far distant miles.
She took my smile away from me
It was then that I lost my smile you see.

Do you now realise, how I lost my smile,
I myself was wondering all this while.
It was in the wilderness heaven knows where,
She had gone away and my smile wasn’t there.

I was all the time wondering, was that one you.
Sweet one it’s only you the one I love true.
Return to me my smile you stole away,
Yes darling I love you in life’s many a way.

    WHAT IS LOVE
Love is the nectar we all want,
Holding it in our hands like a cup,
How we wish it not to let it go,
As love is the only possession one does show,
All hope to nurse it for all times
Yet we hanker for more and do not share
What is love is love divine.
We always think of those times we wanted,
But our love was always daunted,
Hoping that some one will come our way
And upon us his whole beings love spray.

We still hope some day love will come our way,
No never will it us ever betray,
    Leading us from the thre
