where can I publish my poems?
I love writing poetry and music. and i don’t want to publish a book, i just want to try and publish some in a few magazines. can anyone give me a few good websites that i can go to? it can be anything from magazines to newspapers, or websites.
i’m not wanting to get paid, i just want to get started in writing and i think this is the best way to do it. if anyone can help, i’d appreciate it. thanks!

Here’s a great website where you can search poetry magazines that are looking for submissions. Click the “poetry” tab at the top of the form. Most will pay you for your poem, so don’t sell yourself short:
Also, check out your local library to see what literary magazines are published in your area. You probably won’t get paid for that, but they accept submissions more freely.
