Milk droplets delivered via a Stopshot controlled solenoid valve. Camera and flashes triggered by a IR beam and StopShot programmable trigger.

It just so happens that our flashlight looked like a Star Trek prop, so we really had no choice but to do this. The beam looks a little low compared to the phaser, but that's part of the charm of long-exposure shots like this.

Yep, that's what my girlfriend said while watching Star Trek.
She knows who Spock is and that his real name is Spock but it was the funniest slip up I've heard in a while.
Anyways, I finally managed to see the new Star Trek movie and I must say it was awesome!
All the characters were done really well, the effects, action and plot were great too.
I can't wait for the next one which I'm sure they're making.
