EE Cummings was an American poet, painter, and playwright known for his experimental and avant-garde style. Born in 1894, Cummings was a prolific and versatile artist who wrote poetry, plays, and essays, and also worked as a painter and illustrator. He is best known for his poems, which are characterized by their unconventional punctuation, capitalization, and syntax, and their playful use of language and imagery.
