Passione

"Ero furiosa.

it is the autumn that i love
it is the autumn this soul
waits for each year
when the foliage is gold, not brown
when closing clouds embrace, not chill
she came to me in the firsts of spring
she came to me like feathers from afar
inklings inside stirred
stirrings inside trembled
when summer came
when summer warmed
she revealed in me that
behind a secret panel lies
a valuable, fabulous thing

and my heart is a reliable organ

Perfect Winter Afternoon

Perfect Winter Afternoon

"And then I met Louise.

If I were painting Louise I'd paint her hair as a swarm of butterflies. A million Red Admirals in a halo of movement and light. There are plenty of legends about women turning into trees bur are there any about trees turning into women. Is it odd to say that your lover reminds you of a tree? Well she does, it's the way her hair fills with wind and sweeps out around her head. Very often I expect her to rustle. She doesn't rustle but her flesh has the moonlit shade of a silver birch. Would I had a hedge of such saplings naked and unadorned."

Written on the body

A tangerine, hot chai with cinnamon sticks and Sugar in the Raw, and Jeanette Winterson's Written on the Body. Add a sofa, an afghan and a sleepy cat, and all is right with the world.

Pardon the whorish pose. I was finally in the mood to read when I got distracted with the lamp. I thought the lighting was lovely that I decided to stop what I was doing and (what else?) pose! HE HE

fancy chocolate i bought from verde's in london. being a jeanette winterson fangirl, i asked the shop-boy if i could have a receipt, for proof of pilgrimage (i didn't say the part about pilgrimage out loud). the result was this: a torn scrap of beautiful paper with scratchy handwriting that he hand-embossed on the spot.

& it was delicious, worth the 5-and-10.

ora ci vuole un peccato di gola.

ora ci vuole un peccato di gola.

Vivere
come gli amori impossibili
siamo rimasti noi a illuderci
e cadiamo come petali
Piangere
e a qualsiasi pazzia
